It has always been considered one of the best of the connery bonds, but i think the next one, from russia with love is superior in every way except perhaps its bond girl. Whilst some might complain about the level of violence, i wouldn't say it's as bad or worse than many other movies out there now. This is a very entertaining film on many levels, not the least of which is its cast of up and coming tv stars - nielsen, jack kelly, richard anderson, earl holliman, and anne francis.
He has sizzling onscreen chemistry with jennifer garner who is phenomenal as elektra. The original death wish was a genuine masterpiece, and, without doubt, the single most memorable vigilante film of all-time. Cronenberg is definitely one of the most daring and original directors of our time. 100 odd yrs later and were up to the hilt in the dire 80's, the clothes and hair are the worst offenders and one man sports the worst mulett i have ever seen on film. Despite seeing lots of negative reviews about ghost rider 2 i still decided to check it out.
